Aleksej Mišković

Aleksej is heading the firm’s finance and projects and M&A practice and advises clients on corporate finance and corporate governance matters.

He has been regularly advising international and local corporate clients and financial institutions in numerous cross-border bank debt transactions and bond issuances on international capital markets.

Aleksej has extensive expertise in advising clients from banking and non-banking financial sector, where he advises clients from the phase of incorporation and licensing up to specific transaction related and financial regulatory issues. In addition, Aleksej represents and advises clients in various formal proceedings with banking and non-banking regulatory authorities. He also advises investment fund management companies and pension funds management companies in relation to some of their major investments.

He has gained extensive experience in dispute resolution through international and domestic arbitration, as well as in litigation.

Finally, Aleksej is involved in activities related to development of the legal framework and legislature in his areas of expertise. For example, he was a member of the corporate law working group during negotiations for Croatia’s accession to the European Union and he was involved in some of the projects regarding the development of capital markets in neighbouring jurisdictions, financed by international organizations.
