Filipa advises both domestic and international clients on a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on competition law and unfair trade practices, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, corporate, commercial and employment law.

 

In the field of competition law and unfair trade practices, Filipa regularly represents and advises clients on all key issues, including the design and delivery of tailored in-house training programmes.

 

Filipa provides comprehensive legal support to clients in the food, retail, wholesale, tobacco, cosmetics, textile and pharmaceutical industries in relation to compliance with applicable sector-specific regulations, as well as representation in administrative proceedings before competent authorities.

 

Her practice also includes advising on intellectual property matters, with a particular emphasis on filing trademark applications before national offices and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). In the area of copyright and related rights, she demonstrates strong expertise in the EU legal framework and the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), further developed during her traineeship in the cabinet of Advocate General Maciej Szpunar at the CJEU in Luxembourg.

 

Filipa represents clients in corporate and commercial law matters, including company incorporations and status changes, and provides legal support in day-to-day employment law matters.

 

During her studies, Filipa was repeatedly recognised with Dean’s Awards for academic excellence and scholarships from the “Zlatko Crnić” Foundation. In 2024, she received the Rector’s Award for team achievement at the Central & Eastern Europe Moot Competition (CEEMC), the Dean’s Award for outstanding individual achievement at CEEMC (best speaker), and the Dean’s Award as Valedictorian of the 2023/2024 academic year.
